The Upgrade of the Sensor 3 and 3+ Bar from Core Kiteboarding

The Sensor 3 kitesurf bar from Core has received an extra upgrade to the Sensor 3S bar! There wasn't much to improve on this kitesurf bar, but Core has managed to introduce several innovative upgrades!

What is the Upgrade from the Sensor 3 and 3+ Bar?

Core has retained the strengths of the Sensor 3 and 3+ kite bar. The Sensor 3S Control Bar essentially uses the same materials as the Sensor 3 kitesurf bar but with innovative and durable upgrades. The most important change is that this bar will replace the Sensor 3 and 3+ bars. This means that the Sensor 3 bar now comes standard with various line lengths, whereas the standard Sensor 3 Control kite bar previously came with 24-meter lines. The Sensor 3S comes with 24-meter Vario lines that can be split into 18 + 4 + 2 meters.

In addition to the standard line length options, a significant upgrade has been made to the Easy-in Quick Release system. The QR system of Core had already received a major upgrade after the Sensor 2 bar, but with this improvement, you can now reconnect your Quick-Release with just one hand! This results in super-fast recovery. The kite bar is also equipped with a sleeker design, with hidden line winders at the ends of the bar. This allows you to easily adjust the width of your bar when needed. The bar is also equipped with an optimized texture for better grip and an adjustment of the EZ-bar width, providing super direct response.

What Was Already New About the Sensor 3 Control Bar from Core Kiteboarding?

The Sensor 3 Control bar from Core was already incomparable to its predecessor, the Sensor 2 S bar. Almost everything about this kitesurf bar is new! The bar is easier to use, safer, and stronger. The biggest innovation in the Sensor 3 bar is the quick release. It no longer uses a twist system but a push system. The new CIC (Core Intuitive Connect) system uses a 'push-away' release. This makes releasing easier. The safety system is also clearly recognizable by the red (safety) component above the chicken loop. After releasing, the chicken loop is easily reassembled by pressing the end of the chicken loop into the safety system and clicking the safety into place.

The Core Sensor 3 kitesurf bar, unlike other brands, comes in one width size. The bar can easily be adjusted in width from 50 to 46.5 centimeters using the new Stealth Winders and the Live Wire system. The redesigned floaters are fixed to the bar but can move freely so that the lines can move more freely as well. The bar is finished with a new grip in two different colors, making it easy to see what is left and right. The back of the bar even features a clear stop sign and red stripe so you can immediately see if you are holding your kitesurf bar the right way.

Vario Lines with Tectanium Power Lines

This kitesurf bar from Core Kiteboarding comes standard with the strong Vario lines that Core has introduced to the market. Additionally, the power lines of the Sensor 3S kitesurf bar, from the 'Y' split to the chicken loop, are made from the extra strong and durable Tectanium lines from Core. These are the strongest lines on the market, specially made for Core Kiteboarding by the German line manufacturer Liros.

Core Sensor 3S or 3S Pro Bar?

Are you deciding between the Sensor 3S and the Sensor 3S Pro bar? The biggest difference is that the Sensor 3S Pro bar has extra strong Tectanium lines and a stylish black design. The Sensor 3S bar features the standard Core Vario lines. Both kitesurf bars have various line length options that are standardly delivered at 24 meters, split into 18 + 4 + 2 meters.
