Fuselage
Our Reedin fuselage uses a conical box-style connection. This means that the tension from the screws when you tighten them is transferred to the four sides of the box to deliver absolute mast/fuselage rigidity. The angle of the side walls has been designed to be outside the cone of friction, to make sure that the mast/fuselage connection never becomes stuck.
The mast/fuselage screws are socket heads. This ensures that the screws are getting only vertical tension when assembled and are not participating in the centering of the mast/fuselage like a countersunk screw would do. This is made possible thanks to the conical box and allows for the use of only two lightweight M6 titanium screws.
