All second-hand kites, kite bars, and kiteboards we offer undergo the following inspections.
Second-Hand Kite Inspection
- The kite’s fabric is checked for holes and overall quality
- The kite is inflated and left for 24 hours to ensure it is not leaking
- Valves are inspected
- One pump tubes are inspected
- All seams of the second-hand kite are checked
- Pigtails, bridles, and pulleys are inspected for any wear and tear
Second-Hand Kiteboard Inspection
- Check for damage on the top and bottom
- The rails are checked for damage or delamination
- Fins are inspected for damage
- Screw threads are checked
Second-Hand Kite Bar Inspection
- Inspection of the safety system
- Inspection of the swivel and depower system
- Inspection of the lines for knots, damage, or wear
- Inspection of line length or stretching
